But behind the memes and flaming Potatoes is an experiment in trading, timing, and market psychology.
The Number only goes up.
The question is: will yours?
This guide will show you how to buy, burn, lock, and claim like a smooth-brained genius.

How to Play Number Go Up
1️⃣ Buy Tokens → Mint Potatoes
Buy some tokens. Boom, new collectibles (Potatoes) are minted. For every whole token you buy from our official Uniswap pool, a new spud lands in your Queue (e.g., 420.69 tokens = 420 fresh Potatoes). Each Potato comes with a sequentially unique NUMBER.
More Potatoes & Bigger NUMBERS = Higher Score.
Potato NUMBERS are global and real-time. Every Potato minted (by you or anyone else) gets the next NUMBER in line. You can’t mint #1,337 until someone mints #1,336. Every buy from our official Uniswap pool advances the global Potato NUMBER sequence. The NUMBER only goes up.
2️⃣ Sell Tokens → Burn Potatoes
Selling burns Potatoes from the front of your Queue. Usually, that’s your oldest, smallest-numbered spuds. You want to clear out the small ones, just... don’t torch the rare ones.
Fewer Potatoes = Fewer Points.
Selling = selling tokens via Uniswap or transferring them from your wallet to another.
3️⃣ Re-Buy Tokens → Mint Potatoes with Bigger Numbers
Re-buying (from our official Uniswap pool) mints even higher-numbered Potatoes. That’s how you climb: buy, sell, buy back bigger.
Bigger NUMBERS = More Points.
4️⃣ Lock Potatoes → Boost Your Multiplier
Lock your best spuds in your Vault. Locked Potatoes can’t get burned, and the rarer they are, the harder they boost your Multiplier.
Locked Potatoes = Protected from burns + Bigger boost to Multiplier.
5️⃣ Play Daily → Earn Rewards
Your Score = (Sum of all your Potato NUMBERS) × (Your Multiplier). The higher the score, the fatter the daily drop.
Everyone eats. Top players feast.
6️⃣ Open the Game → Send It
Reading is great. Playing is better.

Every time you buy tokens from our official Uniswap pool, fresh Potatoes are added to the back of your Queue (bottom right). Every time you sell, Potatoes are burned from the front (top left).
The front of your Queue usually holds your oldest, smallest-numbered spuds, so selling often trims the weak. But placement is key: what’s at the front burns first, no matter how rare or high-NUMBERED it is.
TL;DR
Buying = Mint Potatoes at the BACK.
Selling = Burn Potatoes at the FRONT.
Big Brain Move = Don't let the rare ones burn.
Sell = selling tokens via Uniswap or transferring them from your wallet to another.
The Vault
Locking Potatoes protects them from burns and increases your Multiplier. Everyone starts with a base Multiplier of 1.0. The more (and rarer) the Potatoes you stake in the Vault, the higher your Score will stack.
Here are the Multiplier boosts for each rarity:

| Legendary | +2.0 to Multiplier |
As an example, let’s say you lock:
| 4 Commons (Red) | +0.1 each | = | +0.4 |
| 4 Uncommons (Yellow) | +0.2 each | = | +0.8 |
| 1 Rare (Green) | +0.5 each | = | +0.5 |
| 2 Epics (Blue) | +1.0 each | = | +2.0 |
| 1 Legendary (Pink) | +2.0 each | = | +2.0 |
| Total boost to Multiplier | = | +5.7 | |
Your base Multiplier is 1.0, making your total Multiplier 6.7. This means your Score is multiplied by 6.7x.
Your Multiplier is applied to all your Potatoes (locked or not) so yeah, locking those rare spuds really pays off for your overall Score.
Important: Unlocking Potatoes from the Vault means they are immediately burned. This action is permanent and irreversible. The Potato will be removed from play and will no longer contribute to your Score or Multiplier. Think carefully before unlocking any Potato!
TL;DR Locked = Protects spuds from burns + boosts your Multiplier.
Rarity = The rarer the Potato, the bigger the boost.
Unlock = The Potato is burned and permanently removed from play.
Pro-Tips
🥔 Potato NUMBERS are global, sequential and real-time.
Every Potato minted by you or anyone else gets the next NUMBER in line. Potato #1,337 won’t mint until Potato #1,336 is minted. Every buy moves the whole chain forward. The NUMBER only goes up.
🔒 Lock the rares.
Legendary and Epic Potatoes (pink and blue respectively) give the biggest Multiplier boosts. Don’t let these beauties get torched; vault ‘em to supercharge your Score!
🔁 Keep the cycle tight.
Sell → Buy → Lock → Repeat. Each turn through the cycle mints new Potatoes, stacks bigger numbers, and pushes you up the Leaderboard.
⚠️ Unlock = Burn!
Unlocking a Potato from your Vault will immediately burn it. This means it is permanently removed from play and will no longer contribute to your score or Multiplier. Choose wisely before unlocking!
💥 Boost the whole bag.
Your Multiplier applies to all Potatoes you hold, not just the locked ones. Every boost counts, especially when it scales with your entire stash.
⏰ Claim like clockwork.
Rewards drop every 24 hours. The Leaderboard updates in real-time. Don’t sleep; come back daily and claim your rewards.
So what’s the point? (besides points)
If you’ve made it this far, you already get it: Number Go Up plays like a game, but underneath it’s a masterclass in strategy, timing, and incentives. Simple to start, yet with layers of complexity to peel back.
The “Classic” game is just the opening level. The points matter. The top players eat.
Number Go Up rewards the ones who show up, stack daily, and play smart. You might walk away with more than just clout. Might even pay for lunch.
